Netscape Navigator 9 (2007): The best ending for this browser?

(28 June 2026) A lot of people have nostalgia for the Netscape brand and associated web browser, even people like me who never got a chance to actually use it. And among the common points of discussion around it includes the final (*traditional) version of the browser, Netscape Navigator 9. But as discussed often, it is based off of Firefox 2.x. So, how different really is Navigator 9 from Firefox 2.0? And how has it held up overall? Despite mixed thoughts from back in the day, you'd be surprised when taking into account primarily Netscape Navigator 9's feature set.
