I am a YouTuber mainly focused on making videos about old computers. I am a citizen of the United States (a country I do not want to be associated with at all), and I come from French and Canadian descent, and I have had an interest in making various forms of content since 2015. I've had an interest in computers and computer operating systems that used to alternate with some other interests until 2020. Some of these interests include cars, buildings, and whatnot. I have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), however this does not impact me online too much.
Outside of YouTube, I have interests in various game series (such as Pokémon, Diablo and Valve games), software development, anime, business, world history and design. I have family members who are interested in things similar to me (including a sibling who also makes videos, but I won't say more than that), and I have certifications in IT and cybersecurity, alongside basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Python and C++. One of my first computers ran Linux and was powered by ARM (I, in fact still have that computer, but it has been repurposed.) I prefer FOSS and other free software over propreitary software.
I generally like the Fruitger Aero style of graphic design, being attached to it growing up during the time. I also realized it's rather hard to make this page as I have a selection of pages about me, and this page is about ME.
As explained above, I have interests in various game series. I've played Pokémon games for a long time and I have experienced each generation of games. I usually play X, Alpha Sapphire and Sun, and my favorite Pokémon is Glaceon. I also have an interest in some of the series made by Valve, such as Half-Life and Portal. I got Half-Life 2 during the 20th anniversary in November 2024, and I bought Portal and Portal 2 earlier that year. While I don't have a Steam Deck, it seems like something I might want to get in the future. I also like playing Tetris and Windows stock games (such as Solitaire and Mahjong Titans), and I am quite good at Tetris.
I also enjoy software development and designing things. I work on two major software projects, OpenSteel/OS and OpenSteelEnvy, among other projects, and I have designed graphics for OpenSteelEnvy and my own videos. I also have designed original characters, such as Neisa, the character I used to represent my channel and online platform. In terms of software, I usually like to develop somewhat advanced projects that are of a kind I feel isn't something a whole lot of developers go for these days. While it feels to me like a good chunk of people who want to code want to make games, do scripting and/or do something relating to AI, I like working on operating systems and desktop environments. In terms of graphic design, a good example is my graphics package you see in my videos. I won't go in to a lot of detail about it, but I designed it with Frutiger Aero design in mind and I intended it to be a bit advanced and versatile.
I also have smaller interests in business and world history. Hearing and learning about things that happened before my time intrigues me, and I think it helps give me an understanding of my surroundings and how the world is how it is right now.
I have a collection of more than 30 computers. These are of different OEMs, such as Dell, HP, Gateway, Compaq and Lenovo, and features a lot of computers from the times of Windows XP and 7. I may spend time using different computers at different times, such as an HP Compaq running Windows XP, or a Dell Dimension running Windows 98 or 2000. I generally can only have one computer on my desk at a time, since it isn't capable of holding too many computers. I also drink Mountain Dew on a consistent and frequent basis, and I have a collection of Mountain Dew cans, many of them being stored on a overhead shelf in my room.
Overall, that's that. I don't really have a whole lot else I want to say.
