MSI PR601 (2008): A trainwreck of a laptop.
(16 December 2025) I don't really have anything nice to say about this thing. It is in poor physical condition, missing important hardware covers and feeling separable in other places, it doesn't make up for this in performance. While it can miraculously run Windows 7 with Aero, it freezes on anything more advanced than Touhou 7 or Bejeweled 2, and refuses to cooperate with basic 3DMark and PCMark benchmark tests. So how bad really is this thing?
