Compaq Presario 5170 (1998): Restoring this PC was a headache.

(11 November 2025) So, I finally have a hard drive ready for the Compaq Presario 5170, and so I can finally install Windows 98 on it. But not any old copy of Windows 98: The factory original copy. I found recovery media for it in both Dutch and, importantly, English, and so I want to restore this PC to its original install of Windows 98. But, it will take some work getting it up and running...
